If you haven’t heard of the Kashmiri Chilli, then ask any South Asian chef and they will tell you that the Kashmiri makes the best chilli powder. Relatively mild in heat compared with many other red chillies, the Kashmiri is dark red, fruity, and used in many Indian dishes to add a warmth, and subtle depth of flavour.
